@eirrir is an indie developer working on games like Operation: Future Domination (backed up by Sekai Project) and Wred & the Wolf.
The problem is that she is also a shameless art thief who is only sorry that she got caught. Please consider this evidence of her game Operation: Future Domination which she traced from Bad Apple Wars, a lesser-known Japanese otome game. The crisp-clear artwork is from BAW.
This evidence was compiled by me several months ago. Her response was to delete the game from itch.io ( a game that she was happily receiving donations on, up until she was caught ) and then she posted half-hearted apology, thinking that it is acceptable just to promise to change the sprites from now on. The following are direct quotes from her:
“I did trace the face shape of some of the characters and some minor facial/upper features.” As seen above, she clearly traced more than that.
“indeed, if no one had pointed out the tracing, I might have passed the character sprites off as completely my own. What started out as tracing only for character design ended up as a kind of plagiarism, because of my laziness and insecurities as a new game developer.
“
This is unacceptable. Trying to publish a game with stolen assets is absolutely disgusting for an indie developer to try to do. Her regret lies not in what she has done, but only that she was caught and now has to make amends. This is clear because the apology was posted in a quiet little read more, rather than something she attempted to make attempts.
Eirrir is aware that she is referencing to an unacceptable degree. In a forum thread from Dec. 2017, she questioned whether or not she was referencing that person’s artwork too heavily and the comments said that she was. Unfortunately, she realized this was incriminating and has long since deleted the thread.
This is the screenshot she posted:
This is an artwork (by Rinniu, who has regrettably deleted their deviantart and tumblr):
It is CLEAR that she has once again stolen other people’s artwork for her games.
This is unacceptable behavior for an indie developer. As a huge fan of visual novels and of otome games, I have to make sure that people know that the content they’re consuming is made by someone who steals art. I will be posting this everywhere I can and, perhaps, even making a YouTube video if I feel as though this post hasn’t gained enough traction.
Please spread this. Don’t let her get away with this.

i can see the flames rising up; i can feel my bones screaming out
the insidious real reason why i drew this is that i found (potentially) the earliest non-warriorcats fanart i ever drew, which was of course of mello from death note drawn when i was like 10 or 11 years old. so now im going to force all of my beloved mutuals to a) remember that i have an art blog and that all i do is post dn fanart at the ripe age of 22 minus a week and b) feast your eyes on… this.
this has been said before but people who take offence to kids just having fun or even actively try to ruin it honestly just piss me the hell off like literally how fucking spineless and shut-in do you have to be to find validation in picking on someone less than half your size. like there’s definitely an immature little bitch here but it isn’t the kids you’re shitting on, it’s cowards like you who think it’s okay to tear down a literal child for kicks.
if you’ve ever fucked over a kid on fortnite or minecraft or whatever by tricking them into giving you all their loot or destroying everything they’ve put time and effort and emotional investment into working for just so you can clown on them when they quite reasonably start having a meltdown in the chat then you’re scum and i hope that when someone gives YOU something to cry about everyone humiliates you just as thoroughly as the kids whose self-esteem and sense of trust you stomped on for shits and giggles.
This started off good but then got into fortnite territory and I won’t stand for any of it.
this post doesn’t even have anything to do with fortnite?? i only mentioned it because its something a lot of kids play??? i know this sounds like i’m proving your point but are you jared, nineteen???????
